Masiela Lusha - 12/17/2008
Masiela Lusha expresses her personality with her long silky baby blonde hair. Her hairstyle begins at the center part
and goes from there to a smooth downy that glides over to a dip, then; sweeps into idle large rolls. Generous amounts of thermo gel
should be spritzed before blow drying this hairstyle to accomplish the airy feel of the image.
Keeping up with the trendy natural appeal of today’s make up, Masiela is careful not to be too revealing with her colors. A smoky taupe
shadow incases her eyelids and a small amount of eyeliner both are pulled out into the outer corners of her eyes. There is the slightest
pink on her milky white skin and a beautiful neutral pink coral lip tint blending everything together. Her satiny silk blouse is a stunning
cast of a popular orchid/mauve color that serves as a colorful pillar for her picture. Masiela’s spring fresh wardrobe blossoms into
completeness with her tiny post diamond earrings.
Beth Ostrosky Stern - 12/17/2008
Beth Ostrosky is Christie Brinkley’s look alike; can you see it in her smile, the eyes and of course the long blonde
hair? Talk about a whopping zigzag part! Her stylist had a barrel of fun making this one! Tip: When you have long layers like Beth and
would like your hair to have a little punch on the top, such as the picture. Try the extreme zigzag part, as moving the hair over to
the other side causes the hair to resist this change and this is what creates the volume. I hear many clients say they do not know how
to make an irregular part. After you have successfully blown your hair dry, brush your hair away from your face. Take the comb you work
with best, some feel more comfortable with a rattail. Begin at the edge of the forehead with your comb to start your part. Move to the
right about 2.5 cm or 1 inch or even 5.1 cm or 2 inches. Then, do the same thing in the opposite direction and continue on as long as
you would like your part. This can be as dramatic or erratic as you like. You can have part of your zigzag uneven or thick instead on
one side. Pretend it is a canvas and you are sketching your design. Another thought is making your zigzag part on an angle. Begin a
little bit off center and angle the part towards the side. This will give your color a new dimension. When all else fails, there are
combs out that you can purchase that will help you with this demise.
